Motorola has finally launched its second-gen MOTO 360, after long talks and speculation from the routers. This is the new model of the original MOTO 360 revealed last year will now make available in two different sizes and multiple strap options.
The second-gen Moto 360 runs on Android wear platform and also offers live deals that enable you to easily access the apps from the face of a watch. The watch offers Wi-fi connectivity to keep you connected even you are not in the Bluetooth range.
The new Moto 360s also have upgraded the processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The battery life and performance has also improved with the help of new chip. The company claims that the 46mm watch will offer battery backup of up to 2 days after full charging, while the 12mm watch will offer one and half day battery backup. That's about double what we've seen with the first-generation Moto 360. Charging is still completed through a wireless pier, which comes with the purchase of the watch.
The Moto 360 second-gen is ready to get now through Online well as Best purchase and the Google Play Store at a smartwatch. The devices are also offered in Sports Model named as Moto 360 Sport. It comes with circular case, but the company offers several design changes like the shift of buttons.
There are actually 3 variants of the Moto 360 – men‘s version in 2 sizes (46mm, 42mm), women‘s variant (42mm) and the Sports variant. Motorola improved the display with higher resolution but the screen is still and LCD not LED. Moto 360 second-gen looks nice, but when it is compared with Apple and LG smartwatches, it does not look so good.
The availability of the Moto 360 Sports variant will be announced in the next few months. It is expected to launch in Indian local stores a few months later.
